Send out automated promo-posts directly from your Twitter, Facebook or Linked In account every time the paper is updated.
You can activate/de-activate automated promo-posts on Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn by going to yourPaper Settings Dashboard under Promotion & Emails. Click on the social media channel you wish to activate and then simply turn the toggle switch to ON (activate) or to OFF (deactivate) for Twitter, Facebook and/or LinkedIn.
For twice-a-day papers, the promo-posts will only be shared for the first edition of that day (UTC time), not for both editions.
Activate your promo-posts
Where: Go to your Paper Settings Dashboard under Promotion & Emails. Simply click on the social media channel you wish to activate and then turn the toggle switch to the ON position for Twitter, Facebook and/or LinkedIn.
Sign-in: An overlay will open which will allow you to sign into your social media account, if you are not already. Multiple Facebook or Twitter accounts: Have we automatically connected your paper to the "wrong" account? No worries! Simply turn the toggle to the OFF position. Then, visit facebook.com or twitter.com and sign yourself out. Return to your paper.li settings, turn the toggle back to ON in order to sign in to the correct account.
Default text and Twitter mentions: An example of your post is shown. Take note that the Twitter @mentions shown in the Twitter default text are only examples and will not necessarily show in the final edition of your paper.
Customize the text: You can also edit/customize the default text shown.
