Disabled Social Media Channel


In your Paper Settings Dashboard under Social Media Agent, you are receiving an error message "This channel has been disabled because your paper has had no activity in over 90 days."

What does this mean?

Auto-posts of free papers on social media are deactivated when a paper is considered "inactive".  An inactive free paper is defined to be a paper that has not had at least one "web view" in the past 90 days.  Views on iframed papers are counted as well!

If you believe you have had recent views on your paper and you would like to re-activate auto-promotion of your paper, please turn the social channel toggle back on.  If you have had at least one web view in the past 90 days, your paper will continue to be promoted.

Emails to subscribers will continue to be sent out even when free paper is considered inactive.
