Customize your header and footer by inserting custom HTML. HTML can be added to add links, widgets, share buttons and more....
Pro papers on a custom domain have the option to add their own custom HTML directly into the settings.
For Pro papers with a custom domain URL:
Once you have turned Custom Header or Footer toggle to ON, you will have the option to enter your own HTML to further customize your paper. Of course a little HTML knowledge helps!
Enter HTML into the Header and/or Footer
-
From your Paper Settings > Webpage > Custom domain options.
-
Turn custom header toggle to ON which will hide the Paper.li Main Menu
(upper left) from your readers. It will also activate the Custom Header HTML editor.
-
Turn custom footer toggle to ON, which will hide the paper.li footer. It will also activate the Custom Footer HTML editor.
-
Be sure any code widgets use https protocol to ensure that the widget or embed shows in the header or footer.
If you are editing your paper via a mobile device, add /signin to the end of your paper URL and bookmark the URL for easier access. Adding the suffix /signin will activate the log-in in place of pressing "ESC" on your keyboard. |
