All publishers can create a private paper, for their eyes only!
Using Paper.li for market, industry or trend monitoring and don't necessarily want anyone else to view your paper?
When you switch a paper to private, the paper will only be seen by you when you are signed in as the publisher.
If your paper is set to private, it will not be listed on your public profile, nor will it be searchable on the newsstand.
Creating a "stealth" paper keeps your profile on the newsstand clean, and papers are for your eyes only.
If you have a Pro subscription for your paper, you can invite collaborators and grant them access to your private paper as well.
By default, all papers (web newspapers) are public, unless you change the setting.
Create a private paper
-
From your Paper Settings > Webpage.
-
Turn the Public Webpage toggle to OFF.
When your paper is set to private, it can no longer be promoted on Twitter, Facebook, or Linked in. Auto-promote is disabled. If you have a Pro subscription for your paper, only those who you have invited as collaborators will receive email notifications.
Signing into a private paper
If your paper is set to private, when you visit your paper URL, you will need to click ESC on your keyboard to sign-in and view the paper.
