    Hi Charles,

You actually only need your AdSense publisher ID and ad unit ID.

To find your publisher ID, sign into AdSense and click Settings > Account > Account Information in the main menu to the left. Your publisher ID will be at the top of that page.

To find your ad ID, click My Ads in the menu to the left. You'll find your ad's ID to the right of your ad in the ads list.

Once you have your publisher ID and ad unit ID, open your paper's Paper Settings Dashboard and go to Web Newspaper > Layout & Appearance > Ad Units, select your ad, select Google AdSense, and enter your ID's and save.

If you have any trouble, please let us know.

    Hi Mourad,

From your attached images, it appears you haven't entered your publisher ID and ad ID.

Also, if you're getting a black square, please be sure you don't have an ad-blocker enabled for the page.

    Au contraire

from screenshot you see that I DID enter publisher ID and AD ID.

I have no ad blocker enabled. I don’t get a black box, just blank white space where ad position is.

    What is wrong ?

    Hi Mourad,

Please note that pub-123456789 is the default setting. You'll need to replace that with your own publisher ID.

Google Adsense has removed Unit ID from my Ad Units. The ID is no longer visible in the list. Now I can’t use Adsense in my paper anymore 😕

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but due to Google's ever-increasing requirements for AdSense users, we've made the tough decision to remove AdSense integration from our platform.

The problem is Google has recently made it more difficult for users to verify their sites and qualify for AdSense. The fact is, according to Google, Paper.li papers do not technically qualify for AdSense in the first place since they are essentially content aggregators and do not contain original content. We are simply choosing to respect Google's policies.

now that you have taken monetization out of your business proposition, we have made the easy choice of not renewing out a subscription.

Good luck - you will need it.
