Searching twitter with advanced search syntax?

Hi.
I know one can search twitter for tweets mentioning something. But is it possible to search twitter using advanced search syntax. For example, if I wanted to search all tweets that contained a certain link. The twitter advanced search syntax is filter:links www.url.com but the content editor wont accept this.

  Hello, We have not incorporated advanced search syntax in our content sources searches.
