Facebook-User / Facebook-Fan-Pages as content

I would like to add facebook-users and facebook-fan-pagesto the content of the newspaper.

I know that this wouold only be possible for the public content of this facebook-users / facebook-fan-pages, but a lot of facebook-fan-pages create a lot of interessting stuff (like museums, public instituions etc.)

Hello, Just to inform anyone interested that the ability to add a Facebook Page or Group as a Paper.li source has been implemented. See here for more info.

Thanks!

Pull all fb content, public, and private, into a newspaper only I can see. One would be able to engage with many more brands, and people if they had a way to efficiently consume more relevant content.

The purpose of the paper is to use the fan page to promote the news.. at the moment I am having to forward it over to my fan page for the newspaper..

Hi Ingram,

This post was originally about using a Facebook page or timeline as a content source. I believe what you are referring to is being able to automatically post to a Facebook page, am I correct?

If so, some good news:  we will be launching soon an improvement to auto-post on Facebook, namely the ability to auto-post on a Facebook (and linked-in) page, not only a personal timeline.

To be informed when this happens, be sure to subscribe to this thread:

How about this initial post: "This post was originally about using a Facebook page or timeline as a content source" - there is any chance to link as a content source a FB page (i have a twitter based account, but I would like to link a FB page also).

HI  ecompedia,

Unfortunately, we are not able to use a Facebook profile or page itself as a source.  We are only able to do a keyword search on public content on Facebook.

We post a lot on Facebook directly and would love the idea of pulling in content from there to our Daily - would that be possible in the future?
