    Hi Karin,

The bookmarklet is added and saved locally on your browser so if you change browsers (i.e. from Firefox to Chrome to IE) or in your case from one compute to another, you will have to add the bookmarklet again to your bookmark bar.

In your case, on your new ipad, you only need to add the bookmarklet again to the browser you are using.  You would not need to create a new paper.

To add the bookmarklet to the browser on your ipad:

To add the bookmarklet to the browser on your desktop:

The other editing menu items are not local to your browser and you will be able to use them from any computer you use, as long as you are signed in.

Please let me know if I can help further or clarify.

    Kind regards,

    Julia

Thanks, it was where to find it that was stumping me as it wasn't obvious, that's why I thought the option must appear when I create a new paper. I am following the instructions but still can't find it! Where is the bookmarklet section? It does not appear under content or settings for my existing paper. Wherever it is it would help if it was somewhere more visible!

    HI Karin,

On a computer, the Bookmarklet section is shown below....

    Under Paper Settings > Content.

Let me know if you need further help!  That's what I'm here for.

On an ipad, the section shown in the image will not show.  See instructions in link below in order to add the bookmarklet to an ipad.

    Thanks a ton Julia,

Your instructions helped me in setting up the bookmarklet in my desktop.

However, I am unable to do it in my Android Samsung Galaxy Note II. I use google chrome in it and that option (of bookmarklet) itself is not showing as seen in the screenshot in your post above. Incidentally, the chrome app in my android phone doesnt seem to have a book mark section. Does that mean I wont be able to add Bookmarklet in my Android.

Please do let me know if there is a way to do it.

    Thanks in Advance,

    Hi Amlan,

Since my last response to Karin, I learned that on an ipad (or on an Android tablet device), the Bookmarklet section is not shown since the instructions to add the bookmarklet on a tablet are slightly different.

I do not have an Android tablet device to do testing but you can modify the instructions here for your device, as long as you can add a bookmark to your browser and then edit it by pasting the javascript found in the instructions into the bookmark.  Then, when visiting a page you wish to add to your paper, click on the bookmark you created.  The bookmarklet overlay will pop up for the bookmarklet.

As for adding the bookmark bar to Chrome, I did a google search and I found the following sites that may address this issue:

    http://androidqueries.com/how-set-bookmarks-bar-show-always-google-chrome-android-browser-lg-handset-20266.html

If you find the solution, we'd appreciate you reporting back in case anyone else has the issue.

    Kind regards,

    Julia
