We don't yet have the function to promote to Facebook at the same time. We are working on it though!

in fact, we are currently looking into this! We are working on some back-end changes that will enable us to merge multiple account under one name and also facilitate the promotion over multiple platforms.

Anything new yet on publishing a link on FB to your paper?

Hi Warren Janes,

I hope I understand you right that you want to promote your paper on Facebook? Then you can "like" your paper!  Just sign-in Facebook, click on the "like" box on the top of the paper you want to promote on FB (your own or someone else`s) and you will see it on your FB account. Besides that, we are testing a new widget to promote your paper on your site: If you would like to become a beta-tester, please take a look here: http://blog.paper.li/2011/11/beta-test-new-paperli-nomad.html

I hope this answers your question?

Best regards,

Birgit

Birgit - I think it's more that we'd like an automatic post to our respective Facebook profiles or page walls each time a new edition is released.  Similar to how you can tweet each time your paper is published.

Would love to see the development of the Facebook promotion feed.

It would really get a larger audience !

Agree.. this would be a great help instead of having to re-publish the tweets each day.

Me too!

Failing that, could paper.li produce a channel for ifttt.com (If This Then That)?

Hi all,

thank you for your ongoing patience and interest on this feature, it is still on our to-do-list. I am sorry that I do not have better news for you.

Julian, thank you for the suggestion, I will pass this on to our technical team.

Best regards,

Birgit

Hello Mark,

We are currently going through product development meetings to determine what priorities are next in line. I am sorry I can't give you an answer at this time.

Hello publishers,

This week we launched a fantastic feature for all publishers to increase your reach and readership:

=> Cross Platform Promotion!

You can now send out automated promo-posts directly from your Facebook account each time the paper is updated.  Learn how to  activate your promo-posts on Facebook!

Customize your post and reach new audiences on Facebook (as well as Twitter and LinkedIn) when sharing your paper or the featured article for the edition.

Happy publishing!

Julia
