Make this work for wordpress

wordpress is on the most used platforms - your not having a widget that works is akin to apple refusing to work with flash. Just fix it.

I'd too love it to work for wordpress. A lot of websites are made in wordpress today so it would be a vital feature. I'd love if it allowed me to 'post' pages and posts from wordpress into paper.li

It would also be great if paper.li enabled to grab content into paper.li itself without having to leave the page to an external page each time you try and read an article.

I would love a wordpress post-feature to this as well. Many websites today use the wordpress CMS platform. A great loss not to make it wordpress friendly. In addition, I miss an automated wordpress feature where select content from my paper can be posted on my WP blog or site. This would save me hours of time and allow me to add even more content on my blog! :)

Is this issue resolved yet? Or a better work around? The process in the work around is very complicated for someone like me. Am I saving the document as a work file and copying and pasting the info in there? :/

Surely, you can just consume a wordpress blog using its RSS feed. It's what I do.

Whoa, I have managed to have the paper.li at my wordpress.org. here is what I have done

1.) Add a plug-in **Artiss Code Embed **you can get it from http://www.google.ae/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CC0QFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fplugins%2Fsimple-embed-code%2F&ei=q3ctUtTRIMej4gTB0IHQDA&usg=AFQjCNEom4slwDOhPcuDinXLSVzWOsf-uA&sig2=ILlw1_t70rq8DbH7T_5hgg&bvm=bv.51773540,d.bGE

2.) Update the Nomad Code in atriss code sheet

3.) embed it on your page or post.

This solution is not working on IE but it is working google chrome and I am sure in days IEs will catch up :o) here is the site where I have plugged it in. http://www.customertrendlog.com/customer-trend-log-journal/

I am actually feeling very good about the solution as I am not a programmer or anything, but I managed it on my own after spending 6 hours. Awesome

@birgit check out the solution I have used using atriss, and see if you can suggest something for IE. Thx

Really nice work  Ayesha!  Thanks for sharing your solution with the community.  I will pass your request for a similar fix for IE to our programmers.

No WordPress support in-built to paper.li?

No problem at all == I will just delete my paper.li papers and move to one of the other similar same-functionality (or better) products that is smart enough to support the World't largest blogging platform.

bye bye

I am really not sure what this about anymore, I realise that Birgit's workaround is a bit clunky, but;

If you want to consume a blog from paper.li, then you can use the WordPress RSS feed,

If you want to use the widgets then Ayeesha's proposal is the right way to solve the problem, unless you are expecting a paper.li plugin and why would they produce one of these when the Artiss Code Embed is designed to and successfully fixes the problem of embedding javascript in wordpress, and fixes the problem where it occurs, in the wordpress code/design.

NB You can also embed Javascript in wordpress by careful use of the text editor panel.

Maybe because it doesn't work in IE .. not a good indicator and not something i want to use... as for RSS ok, hadn;t thought of that but the plugins tend to be clunky and hard to fix to suit site style (RSS is showing it's age)

And yes, I would expect them to either give me a plugin or let me embed it as an iframe without premium pricing.

so for that it seems reasonable to move on: they aren't forced to give me what I want but I am also not forced to use it.

Dear Publishers,

If I am not mistaken, this issue is taken care of with the Artiss Code Embed which successfully fixes the problem of embedding javascript in wordpress.

Let me know if any of you disagree...
