I'm integrating paper.li into a larger site and I would like to feature the headline story elsewhere using IFTT so I have a permanent record of what was featured.
The RSS feature is a good starting point for this because the first post is always the featured article, but ideally it would need to contain just that one story. I could program my own solution to consume the feed and output the first post, but that's an extra point of failure for things to go wrong on.
Would it be feasible to limit the number of entries in the RSS feed? It could be just an optional parameter on the current RSS URL - ie put ?limit=1 at the end of the url to just show the top 1 story, or ?limit=5 for the first 5 etc.
