REQUEST : A way to create / upload your own original content directly into paper.li's system
Hi - please click the "Follow" button on the top right and a quick short comment below if you would like to add your voice to ours requesting the following feature be added to paper.li. The support people have confirmed that there is no way to do this now but are aware it's a request that's been made by others and suggested we canvas for your vote here!
=====
FEATURE REQUEST :
We want to be able to add our own original content not hosted elsewhere directly to our paper by uploading or typing (and if possible formatting in a basic way) articles and other media directly into your system. (In other words we don't want to use e.g. your bookmarklet on content hosted an a website or in Facebook / Twitter / Youtube etc.)
Being able to create / edit content directly in paper.li will be a high-demand feature most users will appreciate, seeing as value in an individual Paper will largely lie in not only aggregrating great content over a wide range of sources, saving readers time, but also in adding unique content not available elsewhere even if the reader chooses to spend their time searching for publicly-available material --- AND of course it will be more efficient for us to directly upload content, rather than having to host it on a web page somewhere else online, opening this page, then clicking on the paper.li bookmarklet!

We're actually hard at work developing this feature, which should be released in the very near future. Stay tuned!

Please consider adding an option for us to post our own articles from a WordDoc that will stay on the site until "we" remove and/or replace it. In our situation, we are thinking about using such an article for 7 days after each posting.
Thanks for making this a reality.

Hi Mandy,
If your content is already published to the web, you can add it to your paper using our bookmarklet. You can also manually add articles by submitting their URLs under Content > Manually Add an Article within your Paper Settings Dashboard.
If your content is not already published to the web, you may still add it via Google Docs.
Additionally, if you have a website where you regularly post your content, and your site has an RSS feed, you can add your RSS feed as a content source so that your paper will automatically fetch content from your site.
I hope that helps.
