Can I have a Paper.li newsletter subscribe button AND an embedded Mailchimp list building form on my paper at the same time?

Can I have a subscribe button and an embedded Mailchimp form on my paper at the time. I am a Pro member and my paper is also hosted on a custom domain if that affects this ability.

 

I've figured out how to add a subscribe button and a mailchimp signup form.  But, I can figure out how to have both in my paper.  Under Settings>Layout Wiggets> it says that when the Mailchimp subscriber box is "on" the subscriber section is not shown.  Why can't I have an embedded Mailchimp subscriber box and a subscribe button beside my social sharing buttons in the "by line" at the same time?  Right now I see:

"Subscribe section 

The Subscribe section is not shown if you enable the Mailchimp subscription box."

  Hi Brian, the Paper.li subscription box is disabled when using a third-party subscription box to avoid sending duplicate newsletters to subscribers. We're truly sorry if this causes an inconvenience for you.
