    Hi Ian,

Please note that turning off the Photos section won't remove it from your live edition. Instead, the change will take affect for future editions of your paper.

That said, please understand that the limit of six paper sections applies whether or not the Photos is enabled.

Sorry, Dorian, the photos section doesn't disappear in the next edition, I'm on my third edition since I turned it off and it's still there!

    Hi Ian,

Is this concerning your paper uKPrepared News? If so, a new edition for that paper hasn't been published since October 3. If you're referring to a different paper in another account, can you provide a link to the paper, please?

Hi Dorian, yes it is but I turned off photos right at the start so that 3rd Oct edition shouldn't be displaying that section

    Hi Ian,

Please try deleting your current draft and creating a new draft, and let me know whether or not the Photos section is included in the draft.

    Hi Ian,

I went into your paper's settings and switched Photos on and then back off again, and this seems to have reset the feature, as I deleted your draft and created a new one, and it does not include the Photos section. You should be set now.

Hi Dorian, it didn't show the photos section because there weren't any. I've added an article with a photo and hey presto, the unwanted section is back.

I think the problem is perhaps a bit deeper i.e. there is a bug.

    Cheers, Ian

    Hi Ian,

Please note that adding photos with the bookmarklet only adds the photos to the Photos section, which is why it's being generated after you use the bookmarklet. It's not necessary to select a photo when adding an article, as the bookmarklet will automatically fetch the photo that the page has designated as the article's main photo.

    We apologize for the confusion.

Thanks, Dorian, I didn't realise that and have been 'picking' an image each time. All sorted now and photos section no longer displaying. Cheers, Ian
