Before I decide to subscribe - Affiliate possible?

Before I decide to subscribe, I would like to know, is it possible to insert an image on which I put an affiliate link and write in the text "ad" plus more text? 

I see potential in Paperli, if I collect my topics here, so I can show my readers and also customers on which topics I write myself. 

But, I also want to put affiliate links to monetize the news blog. 

At Paperli, affiliate is serious to my topics. On my own blog, I don't want to put affiliate links because it doesn't make a good impression to have advertising links on a competence blog. It looks "mercenary". 

Paperli is like a newspaper. And people accept advertising in newspapers too.
